米国医学図書館の選書基準「"Brandon/Hill"リスト」収載誌におけるバックナンバー無料公開状況
PubMedで検索した文献の掲載雑誌や、全文無料で公開されている雑誌がどれほど知名度や評価が高い雑誌なのかを知るのは、なかなか難しいものです。
そこで、アメリカの医学図書館で40年以上使われ続けている収書ガイド"Brandon/Hill"リストをご紹介します。このガイドは元々病院図書館向けに作成され、改訂を重ねながら日本の多くの医学図書館でも選書基準として参考にされています。このガイドの収載基準は明らかにはされていませんが、そこに掲載されている雑誌は各専門分野で高い評価を受けており、この収載誌の論文ならば、たとえ無料でも比較的安心して参考に出来る文献と思ってよいでしょう。
